This is a photograph of a small home-grown cabin located on a large erosion control pond. To give it more photographic interest, I tried a few new and different presets and post processing techniques in Lightroom. After applying more extreme levels of contrast, clarity and vibrancy than normal, I believe I made the scene more inviting and the image more effective.

25 Sep 2010Yes I think it does too. I normally prefer a more natural look but in this case the HDR appearance brought more life to the image. Do you recognize the location? I shot this one from the Mule; I didn’t want to step into the grass and pick up any chiggers.
