Daffodils

The daffodils are blooming in Woodward Park, one of the first signs of spring in Tulsa. This image was made just after sunrise on Saturday morning. Although it was cold, only 34 degrees, my friend and I set out early with our cameras to take advantage of the beautiful light. We spent 90 minutes shooting daffodils. That probably sounds like a long time but it went by fast. You really get caught up into what you’re doing. We had a blast and, to top off the outing, we joined our wives afterwards for breakfast at a local diner.
