Images from Downtown Tulsa HDR Shoot

Here are a couple of images I made from my photowalk with the Tulsa Digital Photography Group. We set out to create HDR (High Dynamic Range) photographs from the streets of downtown Tulsa. Temperatures have been reaching over 100 degrees here in the midwest on a regular basis so we set out early in the morning to beat the heat. I still got hot, but we had a great time and made some wonderful images. The first is a view from the H.A. Chapman Centennial Green Park. The flowers and lawn must get water because they were in fairly good shape. The second image is of the entrance to the Mid-Continent Tower. This area is heavily used by photographers for model shoots. I’ve made a few there myself. For this photograph I made the building my subject. I’m also thinking it’s a contender for entering into the State Fair later this year.
