Running

Now that school is out and summer is upon us, it’s time to look forward to outdoor fun and family vacations.  This shot was taken last year while on vacation in the Pennsylvania mountains.  I went on a early morning walk with some of the kids before breakfast.  We had fun walking, talking, and running.  They did most of the running, but I did have to play catch up after stopping to take pictures.  This image really captured the excitement and energy for the day.  It was foggy that morning but the weather conditions didn’t keep us from enjoying our time together.

This year we plan to go to Colorado.  It won’t be with the extended family like last year but we’re sure to have a great time.  We’ve rented a small, very small, log cabin and plan to ride horses and trains, hike, visit friends and see some spectacular sites.
