TCC C4C

The Center for Creativity (C4C) was, by far, the largest and most complex project I’ve lead as the managing architect.  It’s the new home for the Tulsa Community College’s distance learning, media and visual arts programs.  It features two of the most advanced production and teaching studios of its kind in the area, Oklahoma’s very first commercial green rooftop, a 250 person event space, and state-of-the-art instruction technology.  It’s been opened for about a year and cost $22 million.

So far, it’s won two awards that I know of:

  • 2009 ABC Excellence in Construction
  • 2009 Honor Award for Excellence in Design from AIA Eastern Oklahoma

Check out this TCC link for a super slide show of the facility and this one for a virtual tour.
