Tulsa Air Show

Attending air shows are always fun.  Here are three images from one we attended a few weeks ago.  The wing walker is a young woman in her twenties.  The story goes that she learned to fly but being a pilot wasn’t exciting enough so she became a wing walker too.  On the photography side, I read a timely article on Scott Kelby’s blog before going that explained which shutter speed is best for obtaining just the right amount of motion in the propeller and not blurring the rest of the image at the same time.  The magic occurs at 1/320 of a second so I shot in shutter priority mode at 1/320 of a second.  Worked just like he said it would.
