One stop we made over spring break last week was Petersburg, Kentucky and the Creation Museum. Petersburg is as small historic town nestled along the Ohio River just south of Cincinnati, Ohio. Many of the original buildings still remain; sadly, most are in disrepair. However, if you’re a photographer, there’s plenty of subject matter. The town and countryside are full of opportunities. A few miles up the road is the Creation Museum not far from the interstate. It’s very photogenic as well and they even have photography workshops. The next one is on Saturday, April 16th. Both places are worth a stop. I’ve uploaded a few more photographs from the museum for you to see on Flickr.
